Thanks to "golfer feedback", this year men 60+ can play from the white tees and men 70+ can play from the green tees - leveling the playing field. 
We'll have great prizes, great food, and great fun!
Last year, we had a hole-in-one winner. Keith Howell got a hole-in-one on the 15th hole.  The prize was a Rolex watch donated by Jeff Nord of Nord Jewelers.   Congratulations, Keith  &  Thank you, Jeff!!

Free Income Tax Preparation - for households earning
$52,000 or less.  Call 211 for an appoinment.
 
Tutoring - for students who are residents of Portage and/or the Portage Public School District.  More information on our Youth Development page.
 
WIC - available at the community center the 1st Tuesday of the month 8-11:30 & 1-4:30 and the 4th Tuesday of the month from 1-4:30.  Walk ins welcome!
 
Immunizations - vaccines for infants, children & adults - 1st Tuesday of the month from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
 
HIV Testing    First Tuesday of the month from 2pm to 4pm - confidential.  Ora-Sure Method (no needles) 
 
Memorial & In Honor Of Gifts are accepted - for a listing of current gifts, please see the Memorials/Honors page.

The Portage Community Center is celebrating 37 years of service - our doors opened for the first time in April 1976!
 
Hours of Operation
Business Hours:  Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Summer Business Hours:  June- August, Monday-Friday
                                         8:30am to 4:30pm
 
Red Med Boxes    Put your unused and/or unwanted medications in a Red Med Box - help keep our community safer!  There are many locations throughout the County - and one right here in Portage in the lobby of the Public Safety building at 7810 Shaver Road.  Check out this link for more information redmedbox 
 
Goodsearch It!
PCC can get a donation for each internet search you do.  It's easy!  Go to goodsearch.com, make it the default browser (instead of Google, MSN, etc) and choose PCC as the non-profit you want to support (they walk you through the process - it's quick).  You can also "goodshop" through this site at a long list of participating retailers (even Amazon, which sells everything).  A percentage of all your purchases will go to PCC.
